Investing In (good) People IIGP

I recently visited a well known burger bar where I noticed a number of signs for the benefit of both their staff and customers. It struck me that the messages were in strategic places so the customers and staff were aware that the company had a strict health and hygiene food policy.

However after witnessing a very unhygienic act by a member of staff, it did strike me that in his defence, there was not a sign in place to say he couldn't act in this manner!

A company's image and identity will only ever be as only as good as it's weakest point and staff play the most important role in endorsing a companies image - Even more so with staff who are 'front of house'.
