Link building tip

Link building is a great way to generate more visitors to your website and get better placements in search engine results. A good place to start is to see what inbound links your competitors have to their website and see if you can link from the same websites, particularly if they are free and relevant.

To find out where their inbound links are coming from just enter the following in the search engine search box:

link: plus the website address

Work your way through the results and create links where appropriate. Some may be other websites, some directories, some search engines, even blogs and Free advertisements. Different search engines may have indexed different links so it may be worth checking all 3 major search engines.

Avoid Flash - Think carefully before using Flash as a main platform to build your website. Search engines cannot crawl and therefore they cannot index the content of a Flash file.
