Wayne from India

The past few months I have had an increase from call centres in India, the time delay before a voice kicks-in is the usual clue. "Hello Mr Peter, my name is Wayne from BT and.....". Wayne...India, blimey the Western influence has rubbed off over there! Kevin is another regular caller from India and about as ridiculous as my mother Christening me Raj.

Now for all you advertising and marketing gurus at BT, (assumming Wayne is from BT), I do understand the need to identify with your client, but come on, when the caller from India introduces themselves as Wayne or Kevin I just crease up. Could Wayne be my new one-point contact BT have assigned me or is it Kevin, Sharon...Tracy.....
