New EllenorLions Hospices charity video raises profile

After helping a local charity with a recent bus back campaign to raise awareness of their work, EllenorLions Hospices recently teamed up with High Profile to produce their new DVD/Video.

I have lived in the borough all my life and although I was aware of EllenorLions Hospices, I was unaware of the way the organisation has grown over their 25 year history, and of the huge number of people they now help during the year.

Filming took place in Gravesham, Dartford, Swanley, Hextable and Bexleyheath and gives the viewer a real insight into the valuable contribution this charity gives our Borough. Chris Jagger kindly gave his support to the video production by supplying one of his songs which gave the whole video a real lift.

If you are a company, then think about donating the money you would normally spend on your Christmas card mailing and send an e-card with a simple message instead. After spending a month with this charity, I know every penny raised will be put to good use and may even help someone you know.

A few facts about EllenorLions Hospices:

300 people are currently receiving Hospice Care from EllenorLions in their own home
80 children and young people are currently being supported by EllenorLions
250 people are cared for in ElleonorLions Hospice each year
2,500 people annually are helped by EllenorLions Hospices
